I recently did a tour of Fairview Great House and Botanical Gardens. It is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are well kept with a variety of local trees and flowers (all labeled) and the view of the Caribbean Sea is breathtaking.

Inside it has been prefectly restored to the early days. Love the antiques! Felt like you were stepping back in time.

Visit the charming cobblestone courtyard that leads to the original kitchen with its stone and brick oven, the original bathroom with its large sun warmed stone bath, and the stone bridge leading to the lush Botanical Garden.

The final stop was at their Cellar Gift Shop.

It is open seven days a week from 9AM-4PM. The tour is $10 USD per adult and $5 USD per child.

You can enjoy a buffet lunch for $60 EC which includes a non-alcoholic drink and dessert.

They have a chapel and gazebo where you can get married. They will also be making their own honey. You can rent the diningroom if you want a white glove dinner.

On the wall are plaques where you learn about the fascinating characters who once occupied this grand estate.

I must commend local businessman, Kishu Chanderamani, for all the work he has done to restore this beautiful house.

A must see while on the island.

Call 869-465-3141 for the tour and 465-3021 for dinner reservations
